Just Beautiful

While I was in Florida I was sitting at the bar talking to the caterers. I was really enjoying myself. It was interesting to see what kind of people came up to the bar and what kind of booze they were after. While I was sitting there, a very beautiful creature sat down beside me. I asked her if I could take her picture and she said OK. I don't know her name, I don't know who she is. But I know beauty when I see it.

Saturday Night with Alli, Sasha and Dasha

Alli came over and spent the night. It was a good time. We went to the bookstore first. I read the Economist. And a new book by the Dalai Lama. Alli, Sasha and Dasha found their own books to read. Alli found The Grapes of Wrath and Sasha found some book about strange bio-engineering.

After the bookstore closed we didn't know what to do. We decided to go downtown. It was after 11 so it was a little late. I wanted to go to The Market but it was already closed. Someone needed a bathroom break, so we wandered into the ESPN Zone and ran up the escalators the wrong way. I had never been in there before. It was a very large bar/restaurant/arcade upstairs. So we wandered around the arcade. But the games were like $2 and $3 to play. Not my kind of place. But Dasha found a malfunctioning hockey game that all four of us could play. We had a lot of fun playing that game.

After hanging out in there for some time, we decided to go outside and walk around. It was pretty late, but there were a lot of people because all of the bars were still open.

We found a grassy place on 16th Street that had a dry fountain. We climbed around on the fountain. Some guy asked me for $16 to get a bus ticket. Just like on Friday night. Strange.

Then we went to Denny's. We were hungy. When I pulled into the parking place at Denny's I saw somebody crouched down in front of a truck and hidden in the shadows of the trees. I was a little concerned. I was careful when I got out. Then I realized it was a young woman puking. Too much to drink. I asked her if she was alright and she started laughing.

Girl Genious

This is a Alli. I like Alli.

She is the smartest kid I've ever met. She is very, very bright. I'm very happy that my daughter hangs out with her.

The Church of Maria

I spent a few weeks in a very beautiful town called Helsingborg. It is a town just on the other side of the water from Helsingor Denmark. I loved that town. I stayed in the very old and very interesting hotel Mollberg. It is the oldest hotel in Sweden dating back to the 14th century. I loved saying there.

Just outside the hotel, right next to it, was a beautiful old church. That church was also very, very old. Older than the hotel. I would walk by it every morning. One morning I decided to go into it. There were candles lit, but no people. I sat in one of the pews and prayed for a while.

I could really feel the echos of all those footsteps of centuries of people. And I could feel a certain oneness with them.

Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom

One of the arts, one of the things that I want to develop is the idea of growing in many directions at once. Growth should be in multiple, multitudinal directions. Today is a good day to start... to grow another flower, to blossom in a new direction.
This picture was one of the candle light parties. I bought a whole bunch of candles and when my daughters had a slumber party we lit them all. Those girls had so much fun. So did I!!! It just doesn't get any better than this.
